According to the World Tourism Organization
the group and convention segment has recorded the fastest growth
in recent years.
The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau is a team of professionals
that promotes and develops meetings & convention business
through an integrated marketing strategy to strengthen the
Island’s economic growth and enhance the visibility of our
members and business partners. In addition, the PRCB works as
the sales and marketing agent of the
Puerto Rico Convention Center.
Bureau membership will have a positive impact

Any person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, institution or business entity which is directly or indirectly beneficially affected by or interested in visitors or groups that may come to or convene in Puerto Rico, shall be eligible for membership in this organization. |

A. Accommodations
B. Civic Members
Organizations that support the PRCB’s efforts to simulate the economic growth and development of Puerto Rico.
C. Corporate Members
Corporate organizations that wish to enhance their visibility with in the groups and conventions industry.
D. Service Members
Local business that serve as suppliers of services and goods. Service Members seek to gain added exposure and increased business opportunities from the groups and conventions industry.

Application Process
|
|
All prospective members of the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau shall file an application for membership. The application must be completed in full, including the appropriate endorsements, and submitted with its corresponding dues for the first fiscal year.
Application for the membership program will be considered for approval by the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau’s Board of Directors. In evaluating the application, the Board, will take into consideration the recognition of the applicant and its representatives in the business community at large, among other factors.
Upon ratification by the Board of Directors, new members will receive written notification. Should the application be rejected, the membership investment fee will be refunded in full.

Duties of Members
|

PRCB members will make it their duty to:

Enhance the image and prestige of the Bureau

Support its objectives and abide by its bylaws
-
Pay annual membership dues in a timely manner
-
Actively seek to increase the Bureau's membership
-
Provide the Bureau with information that may foster the
promotion of conventions and/or tourism business in Puerto Rico
