In addition to the major Catholic holidays, Puerto Rico has the
national holidays and traditional U.S. holidays listed below.
In general, on national holidays banks and government
buildings tend to be closed, hotels run as usual and large
shopping malls are open. Small businesses are unpredictable but
there's about a 50% chance that they'll stay open.
